I like this! But you need a button which allows me to do so!

We had a work poker night on Friday which was awesome in the way you describe, a very complex game and I think you learn a lot about people. Job's going well then?

Katie and I were talking about this today, about how Nuclear power appears to be the least evil of many evils, that all these people jumping on the condemning nuclear bandwagon couldn't come up with a better replacement. Yes, there's nuclear waste to worry about but that is really too harmful if disposed of properly. And apart from an avoidable disaster in Chernobyl there's probably more deaths result from coal, oil and gas mining accidents alone, never mind the health risks caused by unclean coal power stations in China and the likes.

Like you say, it's impressive that the Japan's power stations have held up so well considering.

Off and on, I've been reading some powerful stuff by Andrew Gilligan in the Telegraph and been impressed by his incisive reportage all on this.

Most would conclude I wouls say what I'm about to say because I'm your dad. But you know I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it.

Your stuff is better.

Aw, Matt! To be honest, I think this last set of exams were a bit strange. A lot of people didn't do particularly well this time round or at least not as well as they thought they would. I have also felt like my Japanese is going downhill since returning to Leeds- because I am no longer surrounded by it and due to the fact that everyone in the class is at such wildly different levels.

However, if you really aren't enjoying learning Japanese anymore, I can see why you would wish to just focus on English.

Just want to mention that I've been pulled over with a bike twice. Once while walking it. And I look Japanese. I saw an old Japanese man getting the same treatment. The fact that they didn't ask for your gaijin card shows that they weren't looking for where you came from. But I agree it's a pain in the ass. At least they treated me with respect and weren't trying to intimidate me.
